A forest trail with gentle bends and local history. As noted in our guidebook, it emerges roughly 500 metres from the house. Törnbergs väg itself is about 3.3 km; getting there and returning adds to the distance.

One of our personal favourites, in the hills across the lake. Bring a flask of coffee and enjoy the forest and views. Check the access road and trail before setting off.

Follow the water through the forest past traces of old mills and water power. The described circular walk is about 2.7 km. Some sections are rocky, and high water can affect crossings.

05 / WINTER DAYS
Bjursås Berg & Sjö is our recommendation for downhill skiing. Plan around open slopes and the weather. Afterwards, enjoy the warmth of the fire or a relaxing sauna evening by Rogsjön.
